Shipping and Returns

Returns Policy

We hope you will be happy with the custom made merchandise you order from Make Badges.  Due to the custom nature of the products we sell, it is not possible for us to accept returns for any of the following reasons:

  • incorrect product type selection;
  • provision of incorrect design or artwork file;
  • colour variations outside a tolerable range;
  • delivery of an order in an untimely manner due to circumstances beyond our control;

If in doubt please contact us via email info@makebadges.com.au or call 1300 16 4416 prior to placing your order with any questions to ensure that we both understand the requirements of your order and the desired outcome.

Returns and refunds will be considered in situations where:

  • we ship you the incorrect items;
  • your item is not delivered within an established timeframe due to circumstances within our control;
  • your items are damaged or lost in transport;

Returns will be accepted and refunds given at the discretion of Make Badges.

If your return claim is accepted you should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please contact us via email info@makebadges.com.au or call 1300 16 4416 prior to returning your item to discuss your eligibility.  All costs incurred from return shipping shall be paid by the customer and cannot be claimed.

 
Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please remember that due to the custom nature of the products we sell, a production time of 5-7 working days exists on top of the estimated shipping time.  If you have a delivery deadline please contact us via email info@makebadges.com.au or call 1300 16 4416 with your order number to obtain a more accurate delivery estimate.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kilogram. Delivery charges depend on weight & insurable value of goods and DO NOT include additional duties and other custom charges that international customers may incur upon receipt.

We always endeavour to process orders in the quickest time possible. Production time will fluctuate relative to the number of orders currently being processed and their individual volume.

In the rare instance that we cannot delivery your order in time, we shall cancel the order and refund all monies in full.  If you have a delivery deadline please contact us via email info@makebadges.com.au or call 1300 16 4416 with your order number to obtain a more accurate delivery estimate.  We cannot provide a refund for orders where we are not made aware of your delivery deadline.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances such as a postal strike, extreme weather, acts of terrorism, peak Christmas postal volumes, etc.  In such instances where your order is not received in a timely manner due to unforeseen circumstances, we cannot provide a refund.
